Joanna P. Elliot
Vice President

Joanna Elliott serves as a leader in fundraising, development, and non-profit management with a wide range of experience managing multi-million dollar capital campaigns to support the vision and mission of non-profit organizations.  Joanna’s expertise includes board training and development, working with high-net worth individuals, strategic planning, designing annual and major gift programs, and developing and implementing marketing/communications materials.  She is an inspiring team member who can collaborate and form strategic partnerships to support institutional initiatives. She has also successfully cultivated and managed key relationships with community, corporate, and foundation leaders.

Prior to joining Graham-Pelton Consulting, Joanna most recently served The RAND Corporation as Director of Development and Policy Circle Consultant.  In these dual roles, she created and supported programs that identified new prospects, cultivated existing donors, and advanced relationship building with prospects and donors.  During this time she expanded the Policy Circle program by increasing membership at all giving levels via a strategic plan; supervised and mentored a team of professionals; and completed an assessment of the Annual Giving program.

Joanna earned her B.A. from Syracuse University with a major in International Relations and her M.A. in Performing Arts Administration from New York University Stern School of Business and Steinhardt School of Education.
